My Journey: Empowering Faith-Based Female Entrepreneurs through Marketing Expertise

It’s a story filled with twists, turns, and a dash of sparkle, culminating in a mission to empower faith-based female entrepreneurs. Early Beginnings: Chasing Dreams in Vegas

Picture this: I was a young and starry-eyed 22-year-old when I embarked on a thrilling adventure with my boyfriend. Our dream? To conquer the world of pre-IPO stock sales in the dazzling city of Las Vegas. It was an audacious move, and we were brimming with optimism and ambition. Our parents? Not so much… So we had a drive within us to not just make it for ourselves, but to make our parents proud as well.

Las Vegas is a wild card, let me tell you. Either you love it or hate it, and since it’s notorious for being known as “sin” city both of our families did not like it, and neither did we (for that reason). We don’t gamble, we barely drink and the last thing we want is go to the strip club to party all night long…. We simply went for a business opportunity. I was raised in Chicago Illinois and went to college in Tampa Florida so something new at this time was needed. So I welcomed Vegas with open arms.

But here’s the plot twist—life had other plans for us. Vegas turned out to be more of a challenge than we’d ever imagined. The dream we had been banking on didn’t quite pan out as expected. Money became tight, and we found ourselves facing financial hardships.

The Turning Point: From Rags to Riches in Marketing

Now, here’s where the story takes a remarkable twist. It was during this time, back at my boyfriend’s parents’ house in sunny Florida, that we experienced a breakthrough moment. Living in a trailer and counting every penny, we managed to do something incredible: because of both of our backgrounds in marketing, we decided to start a… you guested it… marketing agency… and after several months of hard work, tears, and a lot of trials and tribulations we sold a remarkable $20,000 marketing package.

Yes, you read that right—we sold it while we were living in a trailer! This pivotal moment not only showcased our marketing prowess but also ignited a burning passion for the world of marketing and entrepreneurship. It also taught us a very important lesson. That no matter where you are in life God can turn your pain into promises!

We didn’t stop there! We continued to grow our agency taking on many more clients. Eventually, we moved out of the trailer and were back on our own two feet. I will say, moving into the trailer was the best thing that happened to me because when my comfort was tested I relied on God even more so. This led to me having a transformation within my faith. Remember, faith is the only thing that truly matters in this life.

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. – Matthew 6:24 ESV

Education and Certification: Adding Depth to Expertise

Driven by a thirst for knowledge, I decided to explore the world of becoming a certified Christian life coach. This endeavor opened up new horizons for me and laid the foundation for my venture, “The Commendable Kind.” Here, I set out on a mission to assist faith-based female entrepreneurs in building healthy, sustainable, and profitable online businesses.

I realized it was more than just money or a successful business. Business is about the impact you have on somebody else’s life.

Because of this, I walked away from the marketing agency I started with my boyfriend and am now fully pursing my God given calling, which is edifying the body of Christ by assisting beautiful faith filled women in building there kingdom minded businesses. The Lord blessed me with my experience and knowledge so that I may assist women like you.

I love this verse because it so beautifully encapsulates who you are and what your business is. We are not meant to blend in. We are meant to stand strong in our faith. Our obedience will become a ripple effect that impacts so many peoples lives.

Social media has corrupted the minds of so many. So many people use their platforms to glory themselves. It’s corroding our society. This is why we need women like you, filled with the holy spirit so you can leave a positive impact and create a positive ripple effect.
